Get to know me
I'm a sustainability professional, science communicator, and yoga teacher who moves between disciplines the same way I move through the world — with curiosity, and a belief that the most interesting work happens at the edges of things.
Born and raised in Chicago, I took my first solo flight at eight years old — Chicago to Poland — to spend the summer with family. That early sense of independence has shaped everything since: a life built around international experience, deep curiosity, and a willingness to go where the work is.
My academic background is in environmental science and business. My master's research at NMBU and ETH Zürich explored the ecological functions of fungi in glacial environments — a project that sits at the intersection of ecology, systems thinking, and the kind of slow, patient attention that science requires. Before and alongside that, I've worked on farms across the US and Latin America, co-founded an urban regenerative farm in Denver, and collaborated on community-led projects from Mexico to the Amazon. These experiences remind me, repeatedly, that the most durable solutions are rooted in relationships — with people, places, and ecosystems.
I believe that sustainability and well-being should feel accessible, not overwhelming or out of reach. That belief is the thread connecting everything I do — whether I'm developing an ESG communications strategy, writing about biodiversity, or teaching a yoga class.
Movement has been part of my life as long as curiosity has. Competitive sport, dance, and yoga each taught me something different about how bodies and minds work together. Yoga in particular gave me a practice of slowing down and paying attention, which turns out to be useful in every other part of my work too.
I'm based in Oslo and work internationally with organizations, teams, and individuals who want depth, not just deliverables.

My roots are Polish. I spent childhood summers in Białystok and later studied in Wrocław during my bachelors. With a large family still in Poland, every visit is filled with memorable adventures.
I am fascinated by fungi. My master’s thesis delved into the world of fungi, specifically researching the ecological functions of fungi in glacial environments.
For a few years, I traveled and worked on farms across the US and Latin America. My time connecting with animals of all kinds - like this sweet goat in Colombia - continues to remind me of the simple joy and happiness animals bring.
During the pandemic, I co-founded Sunnyside Farms, an urban farm in Denver specializing in 36 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Fridays were dedicated to harvesting, while Saturdays were spent at the farm stand, fostering connections within the community.
Backpacking is one of my favorite activities. I led student trips in Colorado and spent weekends exploring the outdoors with friends. Bliss is a tent, a camp stove, a warm sleeping bag, and endless trails.
As a single, pet-free, and fun auntie living in Colorado, I quickly became the go-to person for watching friends' pets, often booked months in advance. Word spread, and before long, I turned it into a small business.
