About me — From the Court to the Mat to the World: My Journey in Yoga, Ecology, and Storytelling
My journey has always been one of motion — on and off the mat.
I’ve always thrived in rhythm: yoga, music, travel, ecstatic dance, hikes through forests, and any kind of gathering that ends in dancing. Whether wandering through a jungle or creating the next adventure, my energy has rarely been still for long.
I’m a lifelong athlete and mover — starting with high-intensity sports like competitive volleyball, basketball, and track & field. At just eight years old, I took my first solo flight from Chicago to Poland, guided by kind-hearted flight attendants and a lot of curiosity. That trip lit a fire in me — one of independence, resilience, and a deep desire to explore. This early taste of independence and exploration set the tone for a life marked by curiosity and resilience.
Over a decade ago, after a back injury, I found yoga. At first, it was physical — a way to balance out my high-energy life. But soon, it became more than that. Yoga showed me that stillness can be just as powerful as motion. It helped me slow down, listen, and let go of the belief that my worth was tied to achievement or productivity.
In 2022, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training — a decision that’s led me to teach, guide, and grow communities in ways I never expected. Yoga became a space where I could shed old stories and connect to something deeper: a sense of inner abundance, liberation, and presence. It reminded me that we’re so much more than just our physical bodies — that beneath the layers of self-doubt and comparison is infinite potential for creation and connection.
I was born and raised in Chicago, and yoga gave me pockets of stillness amidst the city’s chaos. Then, like many stories in my life, it took me across the world. I’ve taught yoga in 10 countries and counting — learning from global traditions and blending them into an approach that’s grounded, inclusive, and transformative.
But yoga isn’t all I do.
I also work in the worlds of sustainability, communications, and business development — supporting for-profit and nonprofit organizations that want to grow with intention and impact. With a Master of Science in International Environmental Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, years of experience in strategic content, and a love of storytelling, I help purpose-driven businesses clarify their voice, build strategy, and connect with their audiences in authentic ways.
To some, these two worlds might seem disconnected. But to me, they’re two sides of the same coin: both about presence, purpose, and conscious evolution.
Whether I’m guiding a quiet meditation, leading an ecstatic yoga session, or helping a team articulate their mission — I do it with the same intention: to help people come into alignment with their values, their vision, and their vitality.
Now based in Oslo, Norway, I continue to teach yoga, offer strategic support to businesses, and find joy in the dance between movement and meaning.
Thanks for being here. If you’re curious about how we might work together, I’d love to connect.

As a single, pet-free, and fun auntie living in Colorado, I quickly became the go-to person for watching my friends' pets, often booked months in advance. Word spread, and before long, I turned it into a small business.
Backpacking has always been one of my favorite activities. I’ve led student trips in Colorado and spent weekends exploring the outdoors with friends. For me, bliss is a tent, a camp stove, a warm sleeping bag, and horizons of seas, trees, and skies.
For a few years, I traveled and worked on farms across the US and Latin America. My time connecting with animals of all kinds - like this sweet goat in Colombia - continues to remind me of the simple joy and happiness animals bring.
I’m also a proud fungi fanatic. My master’s thesis delved into the fascinating world of fungi, specifically researching the ecological functions of fungi in glacial environments.
During the pandemic, I co-founded Sunnyside Farms, an urban farm in Denver specializing in 36 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Fridays were dedicated to harvesting, while Saturdays were spent at the farm stand, fostering connections within the community.
My roots are Polish. I spent my childhood summers in Białystok and later studied in Wrocław during her undergraduate years. With a large family still in Poland, every visit is filled with memorable adventures.
